Because of my relationship with Tampa Bay Bloggers, I was treated to a tour of Earth Fare Oldsmar and received a $25 gift card for my own use, as well as a $25 gift card for a blog reader. However, all opinions are my own.

I was so excited to be able to check out the new Earth Fare, a specialty organic and natural foods grocery store, with the Tampa Bay Bloggers. The new store just opened in Oldsmar, which is really close to my home. I was happy to see that the store is really large and really glad to know that all of their products are non-GMO and free of any artificial colors. There is even a list of 150 ingredients that you will never see in their products. (List can be found on their website.) With so much news about what you eat causing cancer and other diseases, I’m really trying to watch what I eat

I’ve featured several beaches from Florida, but one I’ve found just in the past year is Casperson Beach. Just south of Venice, it is also part of Shark Tooth Capital of the World.

As a member of Tampa Bay Bloggers, I was invited to The Tervis Experience launch event. Guests, including myself, received their own free Tervis mug, along with a Tervis-branded tumbler and a Tervis bag. All opinions are my own.
Can you remember your first Tervis tumbler?
I sure do. I bought four of them during a vacation to Naples, FL, 25 years ago: a conch shell, sand dollar, beach chair and a sailfish. I was so proud of them. I thought I had arrived.
Everyone loves Tervis. And why not? They keep our drinks cold – or hot – and they look pretty at the same time. In its 70+ history, Tervis has had more than 10,000 designs on their tumblers. Something for everyone, for sure.

When I had the opportunity to visit HSN to hear a panel discussion about entrepreneurship with the The Centre for Women, I jumped on it.
It was fun seeing the studio behind the scenes and some of their props – which included MANY chandeliers! As many of you know, QVC recently acquired HSN, and they will join forces soon. I can’t tell you how many purchases my mom and I made from QVC – many things from Fenton, Waterford, Boyd’s Bears, Peterboro Baskets. (Not to mention my mom’s love of Joan Rivers jewelry!)
Afterward the very special panel, we had the chance to shop in their special store, with 50% off.
Can you guess what I found? There was ONE 16-piece set of Johnson Brothers “His Majesty.” I have been looking for more of these dishes for the past two years, after finding a couple locally.
It was $48 but 50% off so only $24 for the set. I was a happy camper!!

Today I had a meeting at the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel for a planning meeting of the upcoming Dress for Success Tampa Bay luncheon and fashion show. One of the committee members works there, so we decided to have lunch there as well.
Nestled to the side of International Plaza in Tampa, just on the cusp of Tampa International Airport, a newcomer to Tampa wouldn’t realize they are in for a treat. It’s a small Mediterranean jewel that’s delightful to visit.
I’ve been to the hotel twice for business reasons, but for some reason I did not have the opportunity to explore.

I always want to take the time to visit Central Avenue in St. Petersburg but it seems I never have the time to go. Recently, I was headed to a couple places (like China Finders and The Hawthorne Bottle Shoppe), and decided to drive around a bit and see what I could find on Central. And I stumbled upon The Bungaleaux on Central.
I was intrigued by the elaborate and decorative cursive sign outside and figured I should venture in.

I’ve always been a purple person. So it’s not surprising I have a few china patterns that are purple as well. One of my favorites is a set of 10 Spode dinner plates I found at TJMaxx.
