Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival offers chance to taste the world

So happy to visit Epcot – Walt Disney World Food and Wine Festival this week with  my daughter. Even though I live in Florida, I hadn’t been to the Food and Wine Festival  in more than 20 years, before I had children.

We went two days before the end of the festival, which was also the opening day of Disney World’s A Very Merry Christmas, so it was pretty crowded.

I loved – well, what everyone loves – being able to visit so many different countries in one day! And it’s so much fun to be able to try foods from every country as well.

My favorite pavilion is always France, with lavender, linens and champagne!

It’s been more than 20 years that I’ve been to the Epcot Food and Wine festival!!

I loved this martini slushi in France. I tried drinks from 6 countries (only!) but this was my favorite!
The Parisian restaurant looks pretty authentic to me!
Yes, I had to buy these.
Love these rolling pins. I wanted to add one to my collection!
Love these napkins from Provence.
Nice selection for the flight of Champagne in the France pavillion.
The employees at the France pavillion could not have been sweeter.

Second area Earth Fare organic grocery store comes to Tampa Bay

Because of my relationship with Tampa Bay Bloggers, I was treated to a tour of Earth Fare Oldsmar and received a $25 gift card for my own use, as well as a $25 gift card for a blog reader. However, all opinions are my own.

I was so excited to be able to check out the new Earth Fare, a specialty organic and natural foods grocery store, with the Tampa Bay Bloggers. The new store just opened in Oldsmar, which is really close to my home. I was happy to see that the store is really large and really glad to know that all of their products are non-GMO and free of any artificial colors. There is even a list of  150  ingredients that you will never see in their products. (List can be found on their website.) With so much news about what you eat causing cancer and other diseases, I’m really trying to watch what I eat

Fruit trees and forts mark the passing of another summer

MelbourneMango625X_edited-1

It’s almost the end of mango season here in Central Florida. I’ve been carefully watching the blooms on my tree for several months, waiting for when the fruit is large enough to pick. The mangoes haven’t reached their yellow or orange stage yet, so I want them to stay on my tree for a few more weeks. It’s hurricane season here, and even if there are no hurricanes, there are tropical storms or at least very windy storms that knock the fruit off the tree.

Dining at Noble Crust is for all the Southern feels

Due to my relationship with Tampa Bay Bloggers, I was treated to a three course meal with wine and cocktails at Noble Crust Wesley Chapel. All opinions are my own.

I had the opportunity to try out the Noble Crust Wesley Chapel last night. I drove almost an hour and a half to get there, but it was worth it! There is also another location in St. Petersburg on Fourth Street.

I really liked the warm decor and the juxtaposition of the gleaming chandeliers against the raw bricks at Noble Crust Wesley Chapel.
