My friend wanted a winter white inspired party. No color, no traditional red and green and no Santas.
He had mostly white serving dishes already, so I brought in my crystal, silver and gold candle holders and white candles.
I gathered branches in a nearby park and then painted them silver.
Although they were a natural element, I combined them with the lushness of silver-plated and glass and crystal serveware and trays.
The result was a stunning and glowing table. Guests were quite taken with the display, and some of them stopped in their tracks as they first entered the door and saw the table.
The kitchen bar was set with more white and silver ware, as was the patio, which had several raised tables with white cinched tablecloths. Outside was an elaborate bar as well as a hot chocolate station, holiday music and a bonfire.
A fun and successful party!
Small Christmas tree carvings held cards that told what the dishes were.
Small crystal votives gave off more sparkling light.
Silver, crystal, and whiteware were combined for a clean yet glittering table.
