Red, white and blue vintage china adds to luncheon to honor women Veterans

I was happy to be a part of honoring women veterans in the community for an early Veterans Day luncheon put on by Dress for Success Tampa Bay.

Dress for Success held the luncheon last year  at the Robert W. Saunders Sr.  Library Foundation. When I asked CEO Katie McGill what she served the guests on, and she said plastic plates, I said – No way. Veterans deserve real plates!

So I was happy that Katie let me help out and add my Plate Girl touch to the event.

Guests were treated to swag bags, makeovers and hair styling, photography, special certificates, lunch and an inspirational speech by Karen Mertes of Fulfill Your Destiny🇺🇸🇺🇸

One of the enlisted service members sang the National Anthem and it was beautiful.

Plate Girl provided the vintage red, white and blue dishes, tablecloths and floral arrangements, which were given to guests.
