Using turquoise to highlight a Florida home for sale

A lovely lady recently called me to tell me she is trying to sell her house, but she thought her table just looked ho-hum. She had seen my tablescapes at her store Chloe’s Consignment in Belleaire and Lemon Tree Vintage Market, and hoped my dish decor could bring her table to life.

She has a charming home which is bright, open and friendly, with gorgeous polished terazzo floors in tans and golds. (If you’re not from Florida, you might not know what terazzo is, but it’s big in the Art Deco hotels and homes in South Beach.)

She loves neutrals, turquoise and coral, and the bright white house is dotted with punches of those colors. We went with this simple setting using Lenox Butterfly Carved, Mikasa wine and champagne glasses, sea grass place mats on top of a linen tablecloth and gold serving ware. 🦋🦋

I was so glad that she liked it! Thank you, Kay, and good luck!!
